About Your Trainer

CC Horse Training began in Meridian, Idaho in 2012 when I noticed an overwhelming need for a natural horsemanship approach to training in the treasure valley. I had spent the last several years interning and training alongside professional horsemen and women in both New Jersey and Idaho. In doing so, I got to witness many training styles, and I decided quickly that I wanted to step away from many of the traditional "cowboy" training methods being practiced locally.

I was dissatisfied with many of the 'broke' horses I was presented with; and so I found my niche in colt starting and correcting behavioral problems. I was able to develop a system using primarily natural horsemanship and least resistance training techniques; this produced willing horses, that had a solid foundation based on trust instead of fear, and were capable of going in any direction.

After this, I ventured out on my own and began training horses all over the treasure valley, and that is how CC Horse Training was born.

I just finished an 18 month position to improve my horsemanship and what I can offer my clients under renowned horse trainer and AQHA Reserve World Champion Lorrie Lynne. Now I am opening my own ranch again with my business partners in Star, Idaho. Our services include horse training, boarding, lessons, and more. (see 'Services' page)
